Graduate Program
Ord Minnett offers a full-time, paid, six month opportunity for graduates to experience the full life cycle of Ords. Commencing at the start of each calendar year, successful graduates rotate through our core business divisions - Operations, Private Wealth, and Investment Research. This program is designed to uncover the next generation of Financial Advisers, while providing graduates with insight and experience at one of Australia’s oldest wealth management groups.
Associate Adviser Program
Ord Minnett is committed to engaging, developing and retaining future generation talent through our Associate Adviser Program (AAP). The AAP is a three year training program designed to equip our Associate Advisers with the critical skills, knowledge and technical expertise that are essential to succeed as a Financial Adviser.
Professional Program
Prior to the AAP, the first step towards a career in financial advice requires the completion of a Professional Year (PY). Ord Minnett supports all PY trainees through a structured 12-month program that requires each trainee to undertake 100 hours of formal training, 1500 hours of work and supervised experience, and successfully pass a national exam. This is the start of a journey to an amazing and fulfilling career in wealth management.
The Tim Cohen Scholarship
The Tim Cohen Scholarship was established in memory of Tim Cohen, a Senior Adviser, who was a dedicated Ord Minnett employee for 44 years and made a significant contribution to the company and the financial services industry.
The Tim Cohen Scholarship is an annual event that aims to promote, engage and support the ongoing education and development to enhance the skills of Ords employees through completing a degree or diploma related to a current or future role at Ords.
Professional Development
At Ords we encourage continued professional development through providing access to a range of internal and external programmes. Ords offers study support with qualifications and other training requirements that is directly related to their current role.
