Francesco De Stradis - Senior Adviser, Wholesale Broking
Francesco is the Managing Adviser of the Intermediary Services Desk. He has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry covering research analysis, securities trading, product development and management, and the provision of tailored investment advice to investors.
He has held management positions with leading stockbroking firms, most recently as an Executive Manager with Ord Minnett before moving to the Intermediary Services Desk. Francesco also spent 3 years as an Economist providing advice to corporate and government clients.
Thomas Pickett-Heaps - Senior Advisor, Wholesale Broking
Thomas is a lead adviser on portfolio management and equities advice. He has 22 years experience (18 years with Ord Minnett) advising investment committees, financial advisers, fund managers, corporates, professional investors, superannuation funds and retail investors in equity research, asset consulting, portfolio management and investment execution.
Thomas has completed a Master of Commerce (Advanced Finance) from UNSW, is an ADA II Accredited Derivatives Adviser, completed Level 1 of the CFA Program, a Diploma of Superannuation from Macquarie University, and his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.
Jeremy Pree - Co-Head, Wholesale Broking
Jeremy Pree has worked in the stockbroking industry since 1986, both in the UK and here in Australia. In the UK Jeremy worked for 14 years at J M Finn & Co, a leading Private Client stockbroking firm, in the role of Operations Manager. In 2000 Jeremy emigrated to Melbourne and joined Lonsec, initially as Operations Manager before then becoming General Manager of Stockbroking in 2005. Jeremy was also part of the Lonsec Executive Committee. Jeremy successfully completed the ASX Broker Exam in 2004 and has been both an ASX Responsible Executive and an ASIC Responsible Manager.
In 2014 Jeremy moved to Ord Minnett Stockbroking to further develop their wholesale intermediary business of which he is a Director. Jeremy has over 15 years experience of dealing with Financial Planning and Advisory businesses and has regularly sat on expert panels representing the financial services industry.
David Wylie - Co-Head, Wholesale Broking
David has been working in the financial services industry for 25 years and has covered facets of research and investment. He has worked in Australia and in North America. David has worked for ANZ on their principal desk and was Lonsec LTD’s Chief Executive Officer. David currently chairs investment committees for IFAs in Melbourne and Sydney. He has held office on multiple AFSL Licensees as an ASIC Responsible Manager and also held office as Responsible Manager for Managed Investment Schemes.
Matthew Lean - Senior Adviser, Wholesale Broking
Matt Lean manages the dedicated “Adviser Services” desk providing dedicated Trading, Research and Support services to Financial Planners and Accountants. Matt’s specialisation is bespoke intermediary solutions in asset allocation, risk analysis, portfolio construction and management. Matt’s clients take confidence in his experience accumulated from more than 17 years in the financial services industry, including a decade as a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley. Matt is a ASX Responsible Executive, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Queensland and is an ADA II Accredited Derivates Trader.
Matt joined Ord Minnett in 2017 and is a shareholder in Ord Minnett Investments Ltd.
James Kaluschke - Senior Adviser, Wholesale Broking
James has more than 8 years’ experience in the wealth management industry with Ord Minnett and Morgan Stanley. During his time with Ord Minnett, James has worked closely with a broad range of clients including institutional clients, high net worth investors, Accountants and Financial Planners. James works with Matt Lean to run the dedicated “Adviser Services” desk that is tailored to the requirements of Financial Planners and Accountants. He uses his knowledge in portfolio management and financial advice to provide clients with tailored asset allocation advice through multi-asset, multi-currency portfolios that best meet their investment goals and objectives.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Queensland, and has accreditations in Derivatives and Foreign Exchange.
