  • Ord Minnett Multi-Asset Balanced Portfolio

    Designed for

The portfolio is designed for investors focused on generating returns from a combination of income and capital growth. Such investors have a higher risk tolerance than a conservative investor, but a lower risk appetite than a high-growth investor. Their time horizon is typically medium-to-long term, and their financial position provides some flexibility to meet their financial goals.

    Investment Objective

The Balanced Portfolio is a diversified portfolio with an actively managed asset allocation process across growth asset classes such as Australian and International equities and defensive oriented asset classes including Australian and international fixed interest and cash. The portfolio aims to outperform the RBA cash rate plus 2.5%, over five years, after fees. It is intended to have a medium-high level of risk in the portfolio with the estimated likelihood of a negative annual return being 3 to less than 4 years in 20.

    Investment Universe

We seek to add value through its longer-term strategic asset allocation positioning and shorter-term tactical-dynamic asset allocation positioning to take advantage of expected shorter-term moves in asset prices and security selection.

Implementation of these views can occur through the direct purchase of securities, or through indirect purchases via Exchange Traded Funds, Listed Investment Companies, Listed Investment Trusts or Managed Funds.

    Asset Allocation Ranges

    • Australian Shares: 10% - 40%
    • Global Shares: 20% - 50%
    • Australian and Global Property and Infrastructure: 0% - 10%
    • Alternatives: 0% - 20%
    • Australian and Global Fixed Interest: 5% - 40%
    • Cash: 0% - 30%

Ord Minnett Multi-Asset High Growth Portfolio

    Designed for

The portfolio is designed for investors focused on generating returns from capital growth. Such investors have a higher risk tolerance than a balanced investor, and a much higher risk appetite than a conservative investor. Their time horizon is typically longer term, they do not need instant liquidity, and they have the desire and financial capacity to ride out short and medium-term volatility in markets.

    Investment Objective

The High Growth Portfolio is a diversified portfolio with an actively managed asset allocation process, predominately invested in growth asset classes such as Australian and International equities. The portfolio aims to outperform the RBA cash rate plus 4%, over five years, after fees. It is intended to have a high level of risk in the portfolio with the estimated likelihood of a negative annual return being 4 to less than 6 years in 20.

    Investment Universe

We seek to add value through its longer-term strategic asset allocation positioning and shorter-term tactical-dynamic asset allocation positioning to take advantage of expected shorter-term moves in asset prices and security selection.
