Mary’s House is a 100 percent community-funded organisation that helps women and children escaping domestic violence. The service enables the women and children to feel safe and empowered to take the first steps in rebuilding their lives.

Mary’s House can have a profound impact on the lives they support. Clients often arrive with just the clothes on their backs. Care starts with immediate essentials such as food, clothing and shelter, and can progress through to the development of tailored plans for them to move forward with their lives.

Traction engages young people aged 12-15 in a workshop environment, to get “on the tools” with hands-on learning and mentoring programs where they complete projects such as building bikes to build resilience skills and experience a sense of success.

Traction has helped more than 2,000 young people build positive futures across South East Queensland. The support helps put them on a path to employment and independence. The early intervention and prevention approach delivers a significant return for young people and the community.

Ord Minnett is Pop In’s first corporate sponsor. Pop In is an organisation that runs programmes to support women and children navigate the impact of domestic violence. Pop In can assist with a range of services including developing safety plans, applying for housing, talking to police, getting legal advice and accessing mental health support.

Pop In has had a genuine impact on the lives of many women and children living in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. They understand recovering from domestic violence can be a long journey, which is why they offer a safe space for those impacted to regroup, rebuild, connect and thrive.

The Hutt St Centre has a vision to end homelessness in Adelaide. They empower people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, supporting them to rebuild their lives and identify a pathway to homefulness. The Centre helps fulfil immediate needs such as a shower or meal as well as long terms needs, like connecting them with housing, education and employment.

More than 850 people at risk of experiencing homelessness walk through the Centre’s doors in search of support each month. Volunteers and financial contributions are going a long way to help change the lives for the better of those utilising Hutt St’s services.

Eat Up provides free lunches to primary and secondary students who would otherwise go through their school day with an empty stomach, lacking the nutrients they need to concentrate and learn. Each week, Eat Up makes and delivers over 15,000 lunches directly to schools for vulnerable children and to date has provided almost three million lunches to Aussie kids in need.

One in five students at the schools Eat Up supports need an Eat Up lunch. Volunteers and donations have been key to the organisation’s growth, from supporting 20 regional Victorian schools in 2014, to now reaching 700+ schools in NSW, NT, QLD, VIC and WA.
